UNITY IS STRENGTH

Once upon a time, there was an old man who had three sons. The sons were always arguing and didn’t get along at all. This made the old man very sad because he wanted his sons to help each other and be strong together.

One day, the old man came up with a plan. He called his sons and gave each of them one stick. “Break this stick,” he said. Each son easily snapped the stick in half.

Then the old man tied several sticks together into a big bundle. He gave the bundle to his sons and said, “Now, try to break this bundle of sticks.”

Each son tried as hard as they could, but no one could break the bundle. The sticks were too strong when they were all together.

The old man smiled and said, “See, my sons? When you stand alone, it’s easy to break you, just like a single stick. But when you stand together, you are strong, just like this bundle of sticks.”

The sons finally understood and promised to stick together and help each other from then on.

Moral: “United we stand, divided we fall”
